The Global CPR Training team attended the Maternal Health Conference hosted by The University of North Texas Health Science Center’s SaferCare Texas and Healthy Start Program. The conference aimed to place emphasis on expanding awareness of mental health conditions that contribute to maternal fatalities during pregnancy or within the first year post-childbirth.

Our team focused on detailing the drastic differences between infant and child CPR protocols and explaining how to perform CPR on pregnant women. Through live demonstrations and hands-on practice from participants, the team was able to actively spread awareness on CPR and engage in conversations regarding cardiac arrest in infants and pregnant women. The event allowed the team to expand their knowledge on maternal and perinatal health issues while spreading awareness on life-saving healthcare techniques.
