Teaching Assistant

Entry-level support role focused on hands-on skill practice.

Must have a current CPR/AED or BLS certification
Assist students during hands-on CPR skill sessions, providing individual guidance.
Support lead instructors with class setup, material organization, and demonstrations.
Deliver brief instructional sections under direct supervision of an Instructor or Senior Instructor (e.g., chest compressions or AED use).
Ensure students practice skills correctly, offering real-time feedback.
Promote a supportive learning environment to enhance student confidence.
Junior Instructor

Cleared to lead multiple sections of a CPR course independently.

Must have a current CPR/AED or BLS certification
Independently teach 2+ sections of CPR courses (e.g., primary , rescue breathing, AED use).
Supervise and mentor Teaching Assistants during classes.
Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and assist with certifications.
Ensure class content aligns with Global CPR’s curriculum and quality standards.
Support Senior Instructors in advanced classes or instructor workshops.
Able to conduct data collection for research projects
Senior Instructor

Highly experienced instructor certified by Global CPR to lead full CPR classes independently and train new instructors.

Must have a current CPR/AED or BLS certification
Independently manage and teach entire CPR classes, ensuring high-quality instruction.
Lead instructor training sessions, including onboarding new Junior Instructors.
Senior Instructors with additional Red Cross Instructor certification are eligible to award trainees with Red Cross CPR/BLS certifications.
Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain Global CPR’s teaching standards.
Contribute to curriculum development and instructional improvement initiatives.
Represent Global CPR at professional events, workshops, and community programs.
Able to collect data for research projects.
